We meet makers and understand the work before interpreting it for a new audience.

A luxury house for Japanese makers
Yokoso Daruma brings independent Japanese brands into a new world with each maker, method and point of view still whole.
01 — The belief
We begin with the maker’s hand, the material, the discipline and the reason an object exists. Commerce follows comprehension—not the other way around.
The hundred-year measure
We ask whether an object was made with the ambition to deserve care, repair and passage to another generation. Longevity is not nostalgia. It is proof that material, technique and meaning were never treated as disposable.
02 — The standard
A house earns the right to represent independent brands by protecting what makes each one rare—from the hand and material to presentation, ownership and care.
Every cut, curve and finish carries a maker’s judgement. We seek work whose character could not exist without the person who made it.
Leather, metal, glass, clay and silk reveal their quality over time. We value materials selected for how beautifully they can age.
Patience, repetition and mastery remain visible in the finished object. The time required to make it well becomes the source of its natural rarity.
We carry the story, process and language alongside the object, allowing a new audience to encounter the maker’s work on its own terms.
Care, repair and restoration allow an object to remain in use and eventually pass forward. The sale is a beginning—not an ending.
03 — The long passage
Luxury distribution should preserve the world around an object—not strip it away.
We meet makers and understand the work before interpreting it for a new audience.
Each brand remains its own world—its name, provenance, price and language preserved.
Private presentations give the work time, context and the attention it deserves.
Care, service and an enduring relationship continue after the object changes hands.
