Every maker retains its own name, visual language and creative point of view.
The house · An introduction
Meaning should travel whole.
Yokoso Daruma is a luxury house being built to introduce a carefully selected circle of independent Japanese makers to new collectors. Each maker’s name, method and point of view must remain their own.
01 — What we are building
A house of brands, not a single label.
The ambition is to create a lasting home for exceptional Japanese work beyond its place of origin, while allowing every independent house to stand on its own name.
Our first areas of interest include independent watchmaking, leather goods, glass, ceramics and other enduring objects. The selection will remain narrow. We intend to introduce the work through private appointments, carefully hosted presentations and controlled retail rather than volume-led distribution.

02 — What we protect
The object is only part of the story.
To represent a maker well, we must also carry the context around the work: its materials, manufacturing knowledge, intended use and approach to care. The aim is to make the work intelligible in a new market without reducing its identity to a generic idea of luxury.
Objects are introduced with enough time and attention for their character to be understood.
The relationship should extend beyond purchase through appropriate care and service.
03 — How to encounter the work
An introduction begins with a conversation.
Yokoso Daruma is preparing a private collector experience. A visitor may request a conversation about the work that interests them; admission to collector access is personal and considered. Brand participation and product availability will be announced only when the relevant maker has approved them.
04 — Begin
A considered conversation is the first step.
If Japanese making has drawn your attention, tell us what interests you. We will read your note personally and respond from the house.
Request a private appointment ↗Yokoso Daruma is in its formation phase. This page describes our intended model, not an announcement of signed brand partnerships or products currently offered for sale.
